// Home Fortification

Home fortification. Harden the building you already have.

Home fortification isn't a bunker. It's turning your home into an impenetrable fortress by making any possible entrance extremely difficult and timely to get through, and if some desperate intruder gets through, you have something to protect your family & supplies with. This solution would be much more effective than a CCTV system in the event of a crisis.

Tell us what your property looks like. We size the door bars, locks, window film and anti-climb protection to cover every way in — from £350.

Count only the doors and ground-floor or climbable windows an intruder could reach. Fences and gates don't apply to flats — skip them and we'll size the rest.

Start at the door

Most forced entries go through a door, not a window, and most doors fail at the frame rather than the lock. A floor-mounted barricade or brace transfers force into the floor instead of a few screws in soft timber, and fits in seconds without altering the door.

Then the glass

Shatterproof security film holds a pane together after it breaks, so an intruder is left hammering a flexible sheet instead of stepping through a hole. It also reduces flying glass in a blast or a storm — worth having whether or not anyone ever tries the window.

Finally, the perimeter

Anti-climb spikes on fences, gates and flat roofs remove the quiet routes into a property. Combined with lighting, they push an opportunist towards somewhere easier. Layer the three — perimeter, glass, door — and you have meaningful home fortification without changing how the house looks from the street.
